The man made the claim in a video posted and shared on Facebook by King Eze on Tuesday. The video showed the man, identified as Solomon, lying on the hospital bed with plaster on his back. The man, who groaned in pain as he talked in the video, explaining how he got shot.
The welder said he went to his shop to pick his tools so as not to lose them.
He said, “I heard that soldiers were coming and the Biafra people were passing. I’m a welder and an iron bender.
“So I said let me go and pick my working machine from inside shop because if I leave it, it will [be] lost. I now saw soldiers, I started running, that was how I was shot. Three gunshots in my hand…”
