Chelsea will not be the only bidders for Leon Bailey next weekend after reports indicate Arsenal have joined the race for the young forward.
The 20-year old has attracted huge interest from top clubs across Europe preparing bids for his signature after making impressive cameos in the German Bundesliga. He was introduced in the second half of Bayer Leverkusen’s game this weekend with Hannover and grabbed a goal in the second half.
Bailey has now scored six goals in the Bundesliga and grabbed five assists in the German top flight.
The Mirror says Chelsea will face competition for the Jamaica international’s services as Arsene Wenger has identified the young forward as a good fit for his side especially as the £15 million being quoted represents a good investment for this future.
Baily previously played for Belgium side Genk and scored seven goals in the Europa League last season before he was snapped up by Leverkusen for £12 in the January transfer window.
